How to Add & Remove pages using
a Thermal Binding Machine

With most binding machines, it is very difficult and with some machines it is near impossible to change pages once a document is bound. It is often easier to start again with a fresh document.

You will find it much easier to add and delete pages if you use a thermal binding machine. With some models, such as the Intelligent Binder, it is very fast and easy to change a page. Here are the steps involved:

  1. Place the bound document back into the binding machine and press start, just like you were going to bind it again. Wait until the binding cycle is completed.
  2. Leave the document in the binder and take hold of the page(s) you wish to delete. Pull out the pages with one hand while holding the binding cover with the other hand.
  3. Take the page(s) you wish to add and place them into the right position in the document. Take hold of both sides of the paper and jiggle them down into the cover until they fit properly into the spine. All the pages should be even now.
  4. Take the document out of the binder and leave to cool before opening
